Wisdom

God has some awesome promises for us when it comes to wisdom. He wants us to have wisdom in our jobs, relationships and our every day life (which is something we all want as well!). To obtain wisdom, you must spend time alone with God. You must ask Him for it! He wants to give it to you, but you must spend time with Him and ask Him for it, so that He can impart it to you!

Proverbs 4:8 says, "Cherish her (wisdom), and she will exalt you; if you embrace her, she will honor you."

You have to abide and commune with the Holy Spirit. I encourage you to set time apart to just be in God's presence. Start slow if you have never done this before, maybe just five minutes. Tell God that you want to spend this time with Him and ask Him for an impartation of wisdom. Then be still before Him. Wait on Him, thank Him. Make this a habit and He will begin to impart wisdom that will "honor" and "exalt" you.

I will finish each entry with words that you can speak over your life. I believe that the spoken word is so powerful. When we talk, we are either speaking life into our lives or situation, or we are speaking death. Use these words as often as you can to speak life into your journey.

- Wisdom guards my thoughts, my words, and my ways.

- My ear is attentive to Wisdom, and I am obedient to Wisdom's instruction.

- I am blessed with wisdom and understanding
