I thought I would lay a foundation on what it means to me to be a BREAD-WINNER. "BREAD" represents Jesus (John 6:48) and "WINNER" represents, well, winning. Through Jesus, we are victorious in our sphere of influence. It can be a salesman, an athlete, a doctor, white collar, blue collar, no collar, anyone who is looked to as the provider, but knows there is someone bigger than themselves. BREAD-WINNERS believe that all of the credit, glory, and honor should go to Jesus. BREAD-WINNERS operate in truth and in love. BREAD-WINNERS are strong, confident, and self-assured.
Let's look again at Webster's definition because he was definitely on to something. The definition reads, "the member of a family whose labor supplies the food of the family." Hmmm, this sounds very familiar doesn't it. Phillipians 4:19 says "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Because we are heirs of GOD, who is the ultimate BREAD-WINNER, then that makes us true BREAD-WINNERS! GOD has huge plans for all of us, and we are going to fulfill what he has created us to be. This forum will be a vehicle to edify and buildup those of us in the marketplace so we can further HIS Kingdom and tranform our areas of influence!
